TruFriend.ai is a friendship platform for grown-ups in Dubai, Riyadh, Kuwait City and Cairo. Tru, our AI assistant, gets to know you privately, introduces you to a few compatible people and helps you turn an introduction into a real plan to meet.

No. TruFriend is for friendships only. There is no dating mode, no swiping and no romantic matching, and romantic or sexual messages are against our community rules.

TruFriend is open in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Kuwait City (Kuwait). Members choose their own community, from Dubai Marina to Mirdif in Dubai, from Al Olaya to Al Yasmin in Riyadh, and from Salmiya to Jabriya in Kuwait. Not in one of these cities? Ask us to open in yours.

TruFriend is open by invitation. If a member invites you, open your personal link or enter your code at app.trufriend.ai/join. Otherwise, leave your email and we’ll send an invitation as we open more places.

Grown-ups aged 18 and over who live in Dubai, Riyadh, Kuwait City or Cairo and want genuine friendships, activity partners or a small group of people to meet regularly.

Yes. Founding members join free of charge.

You tell Tru what you enjoy, when you’re usually free, which languages you speak and how far you’d travel. TruFriend suggests a few people who fit and explains why. You each choose Connect or Not now, and you’re only connected if you both say yes. Nobody is told if you pass.

No. Chatting with Tru is optional. You can fill in a short form instead, and either way you review your profile before anything is used.

Tru uses what you share only to build your friendship profile and suggest compatible people. Tru never asks about religion, background, health, politics or money. Your chat with Tru is deleted after 30 days, or sooner if you choose, and it is not used to train AI models.

Circles are small, friendship-only groups of members who share an interest, such as padel, walks, food, books or languages. Members answer one quick question a week together, and Tru uses your circles to suggest people and plans. See the circles.

Yes. In the app, go to Account, Calendar and connect Google Calendar or Outlook. Every plan you start or join is then added for you with the place and time, and updated or removed if it changes or is cancelled. TruFriend only checks when you are busy or free, never what your other events say. Use Apple Calendar or another app? Subscribe to your private TruFriend calendar link instead.

When you’re connected, either of you can suggest a plan in your chat: what to do, a public place, a day and a time. The other person accepts or says it doesn’t work. You can add accepted plans to your calendar, and we email you both a reminder beforehand. Afterwards, TruFriend asks you privately whether you met and how it went.

Only people you’re introduced to see your profile: your first name, age, community and the details you choose to show. Your photo is only shown if you allow it. Your exact address and email are never shown.

Keep chatting in TruFriend until you trust someone, meet in busy public places and never send money. You can report or block anyone at any time. Read our safety tips.

Yes. In the app, go to Account to download your data or delete your account. Deleting it removes your profile, photo, chats and introductions straight away.
